Fashion Plates: What To Wear To 3 Hot Restos

UPDATE: This story was originally published on October 23.
As busy city dwellers, it's hard to get in touch with our domestic side. Sure, we'd love to be able to whip up a delicious meal with the ease and beauty of Giada or Sandra (how do they do it?), but, well, there's a reason we don't have a cooking show. So, we call upon the expert chefs of Chicago's to-die-for restaurants to give us a leg up when it comes to getting our grub on.
Thankfully, this fall brings the opening of tons of scene-y and delicious new eateries meant to wine and dine your nearest and dearest — and we've got a line on the three buzziest of the bunch. Whether you're looking for a casual brunch with friends or you want to turn up the heat with Chi-town's sultriest date spot, we've got you covered. And, we've even gone ahead and picked out the best ensembles to don while you dine. Now, all you have to worry about is scoring that in-demand reservation.
While Carriage House has been open for over a month, they're set to launch an all-new brunch service this fall, which will no doubt attract the city's chicest mimosa lovers. Since you'll probably be tired from a late night out, you'll want to stick to a more casual look — a sweater dress, cozy tights, and flat boots will do the trick.

B&B's globally inspired menu begs for a little something eclectic. Show off your hipster (but trendy!) side with tassels, prints, and all the greatest fall colors.

Sam Edelman Louie Booties, $160, available at Bloomingdale's; J.Crew Cotton V-Neck Tee, $29.50, available at J.Crew; Haute Hippie Hooded Wool Cardi-Coat, $495, available at Net-A-Porter; Billabong Too Darn Cute Clutch, $36.99, available at Zappos; Current/Elliot The Jean Legging, $295, available at Stylebop.

This ultra-hot new resto was inspired by Brigitte Bardot's infamous trip to Brazil back in 1964, so the decor just begs for you to turn up the outfit heat. Channel the liveliness of South America with a pair of printed pants, and balance them out with chic and minimal colors.
La Sirena, 954 West Fulton Market (at Morgan Street); 312-226-5300.
Topshop Double Zip Biker Jacket, $130, available at Topshop; Cleobella Cantina Mini Painted Bag, $104, available at Cleobella; Maxmara Corea Top, $396, available at Matches Fashion; Tom Binns Yellow Bicolor Earrings, $300, available at Ssense; Isabel Marant Edilon Devoré-Velvet Tapered Pants, $655, available at Net-A-Porter; ASOS Sidney Pointed High Heels With Metal Toe Cap, $79.16, available at ASOS.
