Fiona Apple, Wacka Flocka Flame, & More Shows To Catch This Week

How To Dress Well, Warm Ghost, O F F Love: Santos Party House, October 8, $15
How To Dress Well is the ghostly R&B experiment of philosophy graduate student Tom Krell. Full of warped vocals, and immediately catchy hooks, his newest album, Total Loss, is one of our favorite records of the year. Seeing Krell hit those high notes live is can be simultaneously gleeful and heartbreaking (but you know, like in a good way) – something that you shouldn't miss.
Monday, October 8, 8 p.m., Santos Party House, 96 Lafayette Street (between Walker and White streets); 212-584-5492.

SBTRKT, Kilo Kish, Koreless, Nick Hook: Williamsburg Park, October 11, $35
Masked British bass dude SBTRKT has been making some of the best bangers around for the past few years. His 2011 self-titled debut was an instant classic, and the few singles he’s released since have the same genre-blending beats we’ve come to expect. While a new album is surely on the horizon, Friday’s show at Terminal 5 will tide us over until it drops. Should be a fun one.
Friday, October 11, 7 p.m., Terminal 5, 610 West 56th Street (between 11th and 12th avenues); 212-582-6600.
Morrissey, Kristeen Young: Terminal 5, October 12 and 13, $76+
So, let’s first just get this out of the way: These Morrissey shows sold out as soon as they went on sale. All Morrissey shows do; it’s just how it goes. That said, “sold out” rarely means sold out, and if we didn’t mention his three night’s in NYC this week (including what’s sure to be an amazing Radio City show Wednesday), we’d be doing you a great disservice. There’s really nothing like seeing Moz in the flesh, even if it takes some industriousness on your part. Here’s a good place to start.
Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, 7 p.m., Terminal 5, 610 West 56th Street (between 11th and 12th avenues); 212-582-6600.
Up for more? Here are some bonus shows:
