You may have noticed that some of us here at the R29 office have a serious spec obsession. While we love sporting our frames on a near-daily basis, we also love our eye makeup, yet somehow, it doesn't look quite the same from behind those lenses. And when we can't quite make our eyes pop, well, we just end up looking tired.
Turns out, the key to mastering makeup for glasses is to know which shades to use, and where to apply them. For instance, did you know that gray eyeshadows are a big no-no? Apparently, they'll just make you look like you have a black eye. And unfortunately, lining your lower lash line will just make you look more tired. Guess we'll pass on that, too.
Clearly, there's a lot to learn, here, so we asked everyday glasses wearer Taylor (bet you didn't know that) to show us her tips and tricks for looking perfectly polished behind her Warby Parkers. Watch the video and grab a few pointers for your next just-can't-put-in-the-contacts day.
