TOCCA's Vision Of Spring Is Fun, Feminine, & Inspired By Charlie Brown

Inspired by a polaroid of a chevron-print hot-air balloon — a version of which sets the stage for the entire lookbook — Tocca's spring '13 collection, designed by Emma Fletcher, features flowy mini and midi-length dresses, tailored jumpsuits, girly blouses, and delicate lace insets. As always, Tocca's wares are 100% elegant, 100% feminine, and 100% wearable. A rare feat, indeed.
Backstage at her NYFW presentation, Emma shared with us the inspiration for her color palette, saying, “The colors and the zigzags and the names of all the [pieces]’s all from Charlie Brown!” It hadn’t occurred to us, but after she mentioned this little tidbit we looked back at the yellows and blues, diamonds and zigzags, “Linus Top,” “Lucy Coat,” and “Peanut Suit” and it clicked. Genius.
A stunning collection of eye-catching pieces inspired by vintage photos of hot-air balloons and one of our favorite childhood ageless cartoons? Our heads are in the clouds. Get a lift of your own as you flip through the entire TOCCA spring '13 lookbook.
