This Exists: An Alien-Themed Fashion Show In A Mini Cooper Dealership

William Shakespeare may have written some of the world’s best classics, but Luxury Management (LUX MGT) is giving the literary prodigy a run for his money in its second annual Midsummer Fashion Show. Taking a starry night one step further, LUX MGT has transposed the Lincoln Park Mini Cooper dealership into an intergalactic runway with alien models strutting the latest designs from AKIRA, The Denim Lounge, J. Toor, JoJo & Sofia, and Thread Lounge. Dreamers can set aside reality for a cosmic night of fashion — complete with a VIP cocktail reception. The show benefits the Human Rights Campaign, the largest civil-rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans. Tickets run from $20 to $75, and you can get them here before the event. To go or not to go? Don't mind if we do.
When: Friday, July 13; from 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Mini Cooper Dealership; 1111 West Diversey Parkway (between Seminary and Racine avenues); 773-969-5700
