Does This New Vintage Fair Beat The Rose Bowl?

Although L.A. will always claim the coveted crown for coolest city in the States (at least we think so!), NYC does lend us its fair share of inspired ideas. From Brooklyn boho to Upper East Side prep, those five boroughs are overflowing with style inspiration.
So, this Saturday, let's give a warm welcome to the Big Apple's best export since SATC, the Hester Street Fair. A staple of NYC's local food and craft scene for over 100 years, the Angeleno version will be located at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Argyle Avenue.
For the foodie in all of us, there will be a Bite-Size Food Festival, which will feature L.A.’s famous food trucks and specialities from our fave indie chefs. (Because isn’t choosing just one dish always the hardest part?).
Countless craft vendors from both coasts will be offering up some of the coolest vintage treasures and handmade accessories, so get there early for first dibs! Then, refuel from all that shopping and eating by taking a pit stop at the beer garden, complete with tunes from local musicians and specialty microbrews. There's no better way to cool off than an ice-cold beverage after sifting through racks of ripped jeans or piles of pre-loved purses, right? We think not.
So, thanks, Gotham — this is a way better gift to us than one of those "I Love NY" T-shirts!
