Roy Lichtenstein Retrospective

Slow Food Chicago Dinner
Local farmers team up to create an all-kinds-of-delicious (and organic!) meal for Chicagoans willing to throw down. The mouth-watering menu options are sourced from local vendors, and include ribs, risotto, and rhubarb shortcake. And, of course, there will be cocktails.
When: Wednesday, May 23, 6 p.m.
Where: Uncommon Ground, 1401 West Devon Avenue (at Glenwood Avenue); 773-465-9801.
Fernet Branca Band Fest
Italian liqueur company Fernet Branca is launching a digital battle of the bands, in which up-and-coming rockers will get the chance to compete for the masses on Facebook. Head to the site to vote for your favorite, and at the end of the contest the group with the most 'likes' will get to open for an act at the Pitchfork Music Festival.
