When Anna Wintour took her turn under the ice bucket, we thought the challenge had reached its apex of fanciness. Here was Nuclear Wintour herself, impeccable bob, signature sunglasses, and designer dress getting utterly drenched — we couldn't help but take a bit of Lauren Weisberger-like delight in the spectacle of it all.
But, as the ALS challenge marches on, it continues to soak some of fashion's fanciest. This time, the always immaculately turned-out Tom Ford takes it on. He was nominated by Victoria Beckham, and stepped up to the challenge in possibly the most luxe fashion yet.
The majestic setting? The designer's Texas ranch. His handsome assistant? Ford's husband Richard Buckley (who's giving us David Byrne in True Stories vibes). The receptacle? It would appear to be an extremely luxe, large, leather ice bucket, suitable for chilling several magnums of Dom. And, the accessories? Well, we can't guarantee that's a Rollie that Ford keeps on his wrist during his drenching — but come on, this dude's in the billionaire-with-a-B-club, so you know it ain't a Timex.
