Look, if you haven't seen Game of Thrones season three, just stop reading...now. The spoiler to end all GoT spoilers lies ahead.
Ok, now that the kids are gone, let's talk about your still-raw emotions after that whole "Red Wedding" business. Rough, right? Well, at least there are a few things to help you through any remaining TV-PTSD (or give you painful flashbacks — whichever). First, the complete third season comes out on Blu-ray on February 18. Secondly, the upcoming season of Game of Thrones hits the screen April 6. And, finally, we've got an exclusive look at the behind-the-scenes wardrobe preparation that went into creating the scene that ripped your heart into tiny, tiny pieces.
Turns out, for the various Starks that didn't make it out of Walder Frey's banquet hall, it was actually a banner day. You know, except for all the stabbing. Robb, Catelyn, and Talisa all got fancy new outfits for their big, bloody sendoff. It's a nice gesture from the producers, seeing as how Richard Madden and Michelle Fairley had been wearing the same clothes for the better part of three seasons. Too bad they never got to enjoy them, right? Just more proof that George R.R. Martin is a cruel, cruel man.
