While most starlets and celebrities normally opt for delicate gowns, shining accessories, and high-drama makeup for their red carpet appearances, model-slash-new-actress Dree Hemingway chose a more low-key approach. For an event immediately following superstorm Sandy, we're applauding the stunning starlet's cozy-chic getup: a heather gray T-shirt, tan chords, and one major pair of brown boots (swoon), which she rocked for her silver screen debut on Sunday night at the Cinema Society and Sandro's screening of Starlet. This isn't the first time Hemingway's played it casual on the carpet — who could forget when she paired Marc Jacobs resort with white sneaks? — but somehow, the more she does it, the better it gets. Then again, it doesn't take much for Hemingway to look effortlessly cool, and really, what do you expect from American royalty?
