If you're feeling a bout of laziness coming on due to the Labor Day weekend, then you shouldn't have a problem fitting Double A's cocktail challenge into your agenda. The cavernous lounge wants you to have a hand in enhancing its list of libations — no mixing or muddling of any kind required.
So, what's the deal? Mixologist Paul Sauter will be creating a new cocktail once a week for the next 26 weeks — one for every letter in the alphabet — starting today with the letter "A."
Here's where you come in: Follow Double A on Twitter and share your suggestion for the signature ingredient of the week’s letter by using the hashtag #DoubleA-Z. If your additive gets chosen, you'll score a $25 gift certificate, so you can pair your winning cocktail with some of Double A's delish ceviches or tacos. The weekly winner will be announced on Fridays, and the week’s Double A-Z signature cocktail will be available the following week at Double A on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. until close.
