DKNY’s Nod To Mod Colorblocking And Smart Styling

Forget prairie-frolicking frocks and feather headdresses. DKNY's fall 2011 collection this season was all modern. The pop-pink and blood-orange hues came parading in the form of puff coats and sweaters while a more neutral earthy palette leveled out the look with '70s browns and contrasting black stripes. The set progressed from young and casual with mini-lengths and skinny-cuts to evening-glam with layers of black in sheers and textured wovens. There was an impressive overtone of controlled, tailored sophistication while still being upbeat and ready to hit the street. We're sold!
