Though always an incubator for new music from the beginnings of hip-hop to the birth of punk, Brooklyn has solidified itself as arguably the most vibrant music scene on the planet over the past decade. While some of these acts didn't begin in BK (and still others have moved on), these artists remain a vital a part of the borough's ever-expanding musical landscape.
