1. Haikus. "Lately, I've been writing poetry, haikus and some other freeform stuff, as well. I'm always trying to push my boundaries and try new things when it comes to design or just being creative."
2. Curfew. "I am definitely hot for this new-wave club I used to go to in Austin in the '80s, Curfew. It was my first taste of accepted expression and individuality. I've been digging out old pictures I took and finding old friends from back then...it's hilarious."
3. Erie Basin. "I love this jewelry and antiques shop that opened recently in my neighborhood, Red Hook, called Erie Basin. The mix of 19th and early 20th century, as well as contemporary design is really exquisite. If you haven't been you should check it out."
