Sure, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon may look more like a cooky college professor than a fashion icon with his scruffy beard and penchant for patched-up jackets, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know how to design with the best of them!
The singer's love for the outdoors is evident not only in his music, but in the limited-edition shoes he created with L.A.-based shoe company Keep. The Ramos-style shoe by Bon Iver + Keep comes in a pale salmon hue with herringbone accents. Across the toes is a black fishbone detail and according to Keep's website, the sneakers are kitten-friendly.
Though the bright color and cushy soles aren't ideal for trekking through the woods of Wisconsin, we think the sneakers will fit in just fine while roaming festival grounds trying to catch Bon Iver live. Or, at the very least, you could take some pretty impressive Instagram pics of your new laces.
And here's the kicker, you don't have to feel guilty about dropping $75 on the stellar sneaks — a portion of the proceeds benefit Best Friends Animal Society, an advocacy group which operates the nation's largest sanctuary for abused and abandoned animals.
Our suggestion? Pre-order these puppies before they fly off virtual shelves. Bon chance!
