Blake Lively Gives Us Serious Red-Carpet Braid Envy

Oh, to have Blake Lively's hair. Impossibly long, blonde, thick, voluminous…it should really have its own IMDB page. While Blake's rocked many a fabulous hairstyle (we might as well just dub her Queen of the Ponytail), our personal favorite so far has to be this insane, genie-style fishtail braid that she wore to the Savages premiere in NYC last night, paired with a gorgeous yellow Gucci gown (Heads up: Blake was just recently announced as the face of Gucci's new Première fragrance).

We have to say, she makes the whole hot-sporty-girl-in-a-gown thing look so easy. And that hair really can do no wrong (well, except maybe this one look). Whether set in cascading waves or pulled high into a braid or pony, it's always perfection (and that mermaid braid from last year...don't even get us started).

But, despite the fact that fishtail braids have been everywhere lately, we love this classic, straightforward version, displayed on one of the best heads of hair in Hollywood. The beachy texture, along with her bronzy glow, turquoise earrings, and stunning yellow dress — we can't imagine a more perfect, summery look. (Grazia Daily)
