Akilah Hughes Finally Tackles An Age-Old Question

Akilah Hughes — the twenty-something blogger behind It's Akilah, Obviously! — has pretty much won the Internet. When she's not studying improv at UCB, you can find her drunkenly reviewing young adult sagas or taking selfies of her increasingly large hair. You should probably follow her on Twitter.
Anonymity is an incredibly useful thing. For starters, it allows people to do and say things that they wouldn't be comfortable doing publicly — great things like donating to charity, donating organs, oh, and asking me to speak for my race as a whole.
While most people would simply ignore these sorts of questions in their Tumblr "ask box," I took the liberty of speaking to the question of how we black people, as a unit, unanimously feel about the whimsical season of spring. It's important to know how entire races feel about things, and I am honored to bring you the facts from our monthly Black People Meeting.
