Bird’s First Lookbook Celebrates Real-Life Lovebirds

Bird is our go-to shop when it comes to (oft-aspirational) swoon-worthy pieces, but right now, the Brooklyn shop is making us weak in the knees for another reason: the release of its very first lookbook.

More flippable online magazine than virtual catalog, the lookbook (naturally) profiles the season's best effortless-cool clothes and accessories — but everything's modeled by adorable real-life couples. Images are accompanied by text explaining the couple's history, so expect plenty of talk about pets and (surprisingly short) engagements.

This lookbook gets just a smidge extra-mushy, but it's honest and heartfelt enough that even the most cynical among us will melt a little bit — even if you're only planning to snuggle up with the likes of Alexander Wang and Rachel Comey this fall.
