The R29 book club officially has its next assignment — in honor of their momentous 111th anniversary, Bergdorf Goodman has released a fashion-filled page turner. Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf Goodman reads like a style yearbook, signed by some of the biggest names in the fashion world. The book features anecdotes about the storied department store from the likes of Christian Louboutin, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Rachel Zoe, and BG fashion director Linda Fargo.
Of course, there's also plenty of eye candy to go around. Scatter My Ashes showcases original sketches from Balmain, Chanel, and Lanvin, original photography from former ad campaigns, vintage images of the store, and even candid shots of its many celebrity clients. The just-released tome, written by Sara James Mnookin, acts as a companion to the fashion documentary by the same name — so BG fans can really get their fill of the luxe brand.
Since this is truly an anniversary for the ages, the fête doesn't stop there. The store will be pulling out all the stops, with special window displays, exclusive merchandise collections, and even a star-studded gala. Now, if only we could get our BF to give our anniversaries the same attention.
