You would think the Mission’s stellar boutique BellJar has given us enough fashion joy after debuting its latest gypsy-inspired lookbook, but let’s just say it has proved us wrong. This dreamy and romantic shop is taking two more emerging local brands under its well-dressed wings: Ali Golden and The 2 Bandits. And to celebrate the new editions, BellJar is hosting a full on urban-bohemian trunk show for fans to fawn over the pieces, while sipping champagne and nibbling on midday sweets.
And if you're a stranger to the lines, trust that Oaklandite Ali Golden is an expert at crafting feminine wares for girls about town, creating light-as-air draped dresses and sheer silk shirts. And The 2 Bandits is just as cool, with creator Tamar Wider whipping up Southwestern-style jewels. Her personal style is pretty on point, too. Now, don’t hold back on all possible arm (and neck!) parties with her statement antique silver and brass trinkets. Needless to say, we're obsessed! And there's no doubt you will be, too.
