This Is Our Jam: Azealia Banks, “BBD”

Azealia Banks may have made headlines recently when she told HypeTrak TV that rapping is "tacky" and "very unladylike," but her new single "BBD" (standing for "Bad Bitches Do It") is yet another instance for the rising star to show off her inarguably slick skills as an MC.
Produced by Apple Juice Kid and Sup Doodle, the track runs the gamut from raved-up dance to hard-knocking trap, both areas where Banks seems equally at home. While many rappers are more willing than ever to mix dance music with hip-hop beats, Banks' dance-rap may be the most fluid sounding medley out there. Maybe we disagree with Banks, but that doesn't sound tacky at all.
