Ariana Grande, fresh off of the coziest Chanel shopping spree, is back on Twitter, and talking about a possible Sweetener tour. Grande released her fourth studio album in August of this year to much acclaim. Sweetener was experimental, airy, and exciting. The album rode atop a wave of intense attention, some of which came from Grande's budding relationship with comedian Pete Davidson. Now, months after the album's release, Grande has suffered a tragedy — the loss of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller — and a breakup — with Davidson. The prospects of a tour looked dim, but maybe not anymore.

When a fan tweeted at Grande asking about the tour, Grande replied, "My heart needs it actually finalizing a few more things but i’m tryna get em dates to u asap." (The fan had rather sweetly stressed that Grande should take as much time as she needed.)

Grande has a need to work, it seems, perhaps as a way of healing. The singer had previously suggested that she would be releasing new music, not six months after releasing her fourth album. In a highly-faved tweet, she even shared a clip of a new song that appeared to be about coping. ("I admit that I'm a little messed up/I can hide it when I'm all dressed up," Grande sings in the clip.) Just today, Grande retweeted that tweet, which seems promising — maybe she'll release the song before the tour?
The show must go on — or go on tour, rather.
