Is there anything better than unwinding at night in front of your favorite funny show? This fall's comedy lineup is more varied than your typical sitcom fare, so there are plenty of reasons to be excited.

Jill Soloway's trailblazing Amazon series Transparent returns for a second season. Scream Queens wants to be prime time’s first campy horror-comedy. Jane the Virgin will be back with its winsome mix of telenovela and dramedy. The Muppets make their mockumentary debut after the recent announcement of Kermit and Miss Piggy’s split — which wasn’t really a laughing matter, but let’s see if they can make it one.
