American Apparel's Incredible Exploding Nail Polish

It seems as though American Apparel's legal and financial troubles just keep on a-comin'. After a rocky year last year with the company almost declaring bankruptcy, AA is welcoming the New Year with a lawsuit against the supplier of their nail polish line, Forsythe Cosmetic Group of Freeport. AA is claiming that the supplier shipped them defective bottles of polish that began exploding as soon as they went on sale and then scammed "tens of thousands of dollars" after learning AA would be changing suppliers. AA is now seeking more than $5 million in damages under fraud, product liability, and breach of contract, which Forsythe is vehemently contesting.
