Now You Can Buy Vivienne Westwood Along With Your Batteries & Books

The same site that you buy discount books, those weird snacks you loved so much while you were traveling in Asia, and Costco-sized quantities of batteries will start selling luxury fashion. The Internet's all-in-one emporium, Amazon, is partnering with high-end designers, including Michael Kors, Vivienne Westwood, Catherine Malandrino, and Tracy Reese, to sell fashion alongside their lower-priced wares.
Its first campaign imagery features a Barbie-fied Chanel Iman (seriously, check out that hairline) and touts that "Smart is Beautiful." Whether it's referring to how smart and sharp Chanel looks (which she does) or the fact that Amazon's new luxury shopping site is smart (it'll let you turn the model 360 degrees to see how the clothes fall and will also allow you to see specific fit quirks like how narrow or wide something is), it certainly makes a statement about what they'd like for it to mean to shop for $400 dresses online. Click through to see Amazon's full campaign, featuring Chanel in a manner of duds from McGinn, Tracy Reese, and Vivienne Westwood (also, more shots of that hairline!).
