Stella McCartney Will Design The Uniforms For The London 2012 Olympic Games

Designer Stella McCartney has just been named the creative director for the uniforms the British athletes will wear at the London 2012 Olympics. Collaborating with Adidas, Stella will create four separate collections—the first of which will be a men's and women's lifestyle line aimed at non-athletes and fans. Many designers have lent their sartorial eye to the Olympics in the past (most notably, Ralph Lauren designing for the United States), but this is the first time we've been so keen on finding out what the results look like.
