Westfield Lunar New Year Celebration Under The Dome
Ringing in the Lunar New Year is nothing less than festive, especially when it comes to the celebration that will be held in the dome of The Westfield. A bright arrangement of lion dancers and a guest appearance by celebrity Chef Martin Yan of M.Y. China will have you dreaming of Eastern nights. Throw in the two traditional Chinese musical performances and a live noodle-pulling demo, and you will feel like you've just booked yourself a one-way to Shanghai.

4505 Meats and La Cocina Fundraiser
Nothing sounds better to our inner Paleo than a whole-hog cookout! Yup, it's a thing— and you're invited. Ryan Farr of 4505 Meats and Caleb Zigas of La Cocina are bringing you a wonderful day of BBQing while you enjoy the company of your fellow meat eaters, in honor of pit master Rodney Scott. Proceeds go to rebuilding Scott's pits, which were recently lost in a fire.

We are pretty easily pursuaded to attend a wild shindig, especially when it's thrown by one of our favorite East Bay haunts. Oakland Surf Club and Herschel Supply Co. invite you to swing by and have a beer for the kick off of its Rad Cars With Rad Surfboards Launch Party! There will be live music by Terry Malts and brews provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon, so don't miss out on this killer night!
