The AstroTwins Personal Appearance at Nordstrom
Whether you're a grounded Capricorn or a strong-minded Virgo, the stars may be holding some serious secrets for you. Twins, astrologers, and total babes (not to mention providers of our weekly horoscopes), Tali and Ophira Edut — known as, what else, The AstroTwins — will be posted up at Nordstrom this coming Thursday to answer all your life-altering questions. From must-copy spring trends to "will he or won't he" questions, start your 2014 off with some helpful tip-offs from the pros — while you shop. Nothing better.

FOG Design & Art Modernism Design Fair Festival
Although our treasured SFMOMA has shut its doors for a little revamping, the S.F. art world has not come to a stop. The FOG Design + Art Fair brings you two whole days of contemporary eye candy by mixing designers and dealers, from California and beyond, for a full-fledged celebration. Be prepared for overflowing bubbles, because this art-filled shindig will be in honor of the last 100 years of the industry. A very special installation will take place, delving into design and culinary art by event designer Stanlee Gatti, whilst panel discussions such as Art Sandwiched In Breakfast and Key Moments in Contemporary Design pepper the schedule.

Alternative Apparel Grand Opening
Have you noticed the new kid on Hayes Street? Alternative Apparel has officially settled in and will be hosting a grand opening fête to get to know its new neighbors. Cool As A Cucumber: How To Master Public Speaking
When faced with a crowd, do you turn into something reminiscent of a bumbling James Franco hosting the Oscars? Well, your savior has come to lend you a hand in public speaking. Makeshift Society will be hosting a workshop in which you'll brush up on how to gamely share content, pitch ideas, and tell stories. All you need is to bring some material to work with and they'll soon be calling you the family raconteur!

Comrades Brewing Pop-Up
If you are already starting to forget just how festive the recent holidays were, Comrades Brewing would like to serve you a quick reminder — with beer, of course!
