So, chances are that you've given up your wash-every-day habit to give your hair a break, thanks to one of the beauty world's greatest inventions: dry shampoo. Hairstylist after hairstylist has been urging us all towards the less-is-more route for years, claiming that hair will be less frizzy, color brighter, and scalps happier if we lay off the suds and embrace a little grit and grease. Sure, the less-poo way may not be for everyone, but we have to say that this is a trend we definitely embrace.
As reported in The Huffington Post, blogger Jaquelyn Baers has taken the less-is-more approach to hair one step farther: She hasn't shampooed her hair in five years. While she did try rinsing with apple cider vinegar and baking soda for a couple of years, she has since given that method up for...nothing. Meaning, that Baers has not even washed her hair in three years.
What does her hair look like now? Well, if you're expecting greasy locks or dusty dreads, you're in for a surprise. Click to the next page to watch a video featuring Baers, and see for yourself! (Huffington Post)
