We’re practically falling off the edge of our seats in anticipation for lauded hubby-and-wife line, The Podolls', spankin’-new Burlingame retail space to open next week. The 900-square-foot shop promises to be a stylish beacon for sustainable, modern wares sprinkled with cool accessories to top things off.
Since we can hardly conceal our celebratory squees, we thought it fitting to give you guys a sneak peek at some of the hard-to-resist fall '13 pieces that will bedeck the boutique. "After viewing an exhibition of Ömie barkcloth paintings, we were moved to create a print reminiscent of the tattoo-inspired, geometric work of these indigenous people," says designer Lauren Podoll. "Using the advanced technology of eco-friendly digital printing, our fall prints evoke the earthiness of the traditional barkcloth paintings while becoming sensuous, vibrant silks that elegantly drape the body."
