"It's nice to walk into a home and feel enveloped by the owner's design sensibility, so a nicely designed entry is a key room that is often overlooked. The best way to set the tone in your entry is to add wallcovering. I like a fine grasscloth because it adds texture and color without being overwhelming. The Juicy Jute line from Phillip Jeffries has well-edited colorways and is well priced. Orange is both soothing and unexpected."

"Bedrooms should be restful, so I am not a fan of frilly, tricked out beds (unless it's at the Dylan Hotel in Amsterdam). Bonus: It's new, currently on sale, and comes in 56 colors. Tip: Use outdoor fabric for easier cleaning."
