Chanel's Relaunched La Montre Première Watch Is Truly Timeless

Honestly, between our iPhones and our Nike Fuel Bands, it is rare for us to get amped up about a new watch these days. That being said, when a truly beautiful timepiece comes along, we can't help but get excited. Enter: Chanel's relaunch of its La Montre Première watch.
Originally released in 1987, this watch is more bracelet than practical accessory. Its face was designed to look like the stopper on Chanel's signature Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle (which was inspired by the Place Vendôme), and it doesn't actually have numbers on it since, apparently, Coco Chanel herself believed more in the essence of time rather than time itself (yes, we, too, are also wondering if she was the creator of the concept of "fashionably late").
All jokes aside, this watch is a serious beauty and timeless in more ways than just existing without numbers. Women of any age will love this watch, and it is sure to look great as a statement piece or amongst the others in your arm party. In a variety of options — from mother of pearl to jet-black faces, from steel to yellow gold to white gold bands, from plain borders to diamond borders, this is the ultimate investment piece that you will never regret. And trust us, your kids will be thanking you when it lands on their wrists years from now...if they're lucky.
