Weekend Buzz: Inaugural Doughnuts & A Bachelorette Bar

National Geographic is turning 125, and celebrating it's marquee birthday in a big way tomorrow. The Nat Geo museum will be giving away Georgetown Cupcakes, hosting a photo booth, and facilitating online discussions between all the best explorers of our time (think James Cameron and Jane Goodall). The inauguration is rapidly approaching, and even if you don't have a date to a black-tie gala, you can still get in on the occasion. Ici Urban Bistro in Lafayette Square is hosting a week-long, presidential-themed menu, with bites like JFK's New England Clam Chowder and Nixon's Meatloaf. (Ici)
Attention, Bachelorette fans! Former contestant (and total hottie) Chris Bukowski will open his much-buzzed-about sports bar this summer, so you have some time to brush up on your star-gazing skills. (Washingtonian)
It's no secret that we have a major sweet tooth, so our stomachs started grumbling the second we got word of Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken's latest pop-up. The bakery will be setting up shop in Chinatown, and dishing out Obama-themed flavors. (Astro Doughnuts)
Mixing prints is a red-hot trend right now, and we're crushing on this so-sweet combo of lace and stripes. It's the perfect way to add some flair to your buttoned-up officewear. (La Belle Mel)
