Mulberry's Spring '13 Campaign Is A Stunning, Under-The-Sea Fantasy

There's nothing like an onslaught of spring '13 fashion campaigns to shake us out of our post-holiday slumber, and Britain's own Mulberry happens to be the latest big fashion brand to snap us into springtime mode.
After throwing Lindsey Wixson into its Where the Wild Things Are theme for fall, the label and go-to lensman Tim Walker have this time tapped model Meghan Collison for an under-the-sea adventure that seems straight out of The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. So, it goes without saying that we love it.
Clad in dreamy gelato shades of mint, blush, and apricot along with a biscuit-brown nappa leather cape and skirt and a gecko-print coat, Collison makes herself at home against a backdrop of bubbles and oversized coral.
But clothes aside, the star of the show here is undoubtedly the brand's status bag du jour, the Willow Tote, though the unabashedly feminine Cecily Tote makes a strong case as well, thanks to its sweet floral detail. We're so ready to take the plunge.
