In past years, Proenza Schouler collections have been deliciously over-the-top, unique, and well, so very Proenza. Designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough prided themselves on switching up their aesthetic from year to year, always keeping us on our toes. But, now that the brand is focusing on retail, the pieces are decidedly more commercial-friendly.
The newest line from the duo is still delicious, but it's easy to see the focus on selling. Pre-fall is out, and combines the most successful items from seasons' past (think biker jackets and fit-and-flare dresses). There's also shoes galore, as well as updates on the perennial favorite PS1 bag. WWD has the entire collection for your viewing pleasure, so click over to check it out. (Women's Wear Daily)
