Easy, Lovely Wedding Hair: Copy These Classic Bridal Looks, DIY-Style

Take it from the married ladies here at R29: Putting together the perfect wedding-ready look can be complicated, stressful, and expensive (and very pink, if you're Mrs. Timberlake).
While you may opt for a more complicated 'do for your big day (and hey, if you're ever going to go for it, today is the day!), celebrity stylist Oscar Blandi is here to assure you: You don't have to be a curling iron master (or shell out a fortune for a stylist who is) to look drop-dead gorgeous on your wedding day. "DIY styles call for simple and classic. I love when a bride pulls her hair off her face to show her true beauty," he says.
With the goal of hooking up all of you lovely lower-maintenance brides, we got Blandi to dish out all of his pro tips for creating that "you but fancier" look. One important thing to remember: Blandi says that the key to nailing a style with the volume, shine, and staying power of a salon coiff is the right mix of products. "I always prep hair with my Jasmine Oil Serum, use a volumizer on the roots before blowing hair out, and spray with a dry shampoo afterward to absorb any residue that can result in oil or product build-up."
Once you're prepped, you're ready to style! If you're not quite confident in your updo skills, Blandi recommends investing in a styling tool like his new Pronto Styling Pins — they help you cheat the look of a complicated updo, without having to deal with hundreds of pins and learning to master a perfect technique.
Read on to see some lovely bridal 'dos and get the full breakdown of exactly how to get the perfect wedding look yourself — in no time at all.
