Jil Sander Navy’s Spring ’13 Lookbook Breathes New Life Into Monochrome

While we’re still heartbroken over the end of her collab with Uniqlo, the new Jil Sander Navy spring '13 lookbook is a terrific reminder of exactly why we are so in love with Jil — and how thrilled we are that she’s back at her eponymous label.
In addition to the ubiquitous sleek lines, crisp shirts, and mastery of the minimalist aesthetic, the newest collection features full skirts in kaleidoscopic floral prints, delicate details, pops of color (sigh, that yellow trench), and envy-inducing platform wedges.
The collection also highlights the subtle power of monochromatic outfits. With head-to-toe whites, beiges, and blues, Jil makes a tricky-to-pull-off styling choice appear simple, strong, classic, wearable, and mature.
