Every now and then, we see a designer collection presented in a completely new and innovative way, reminding us of exactly why we got into the fashion game in the first place. As part of her resort collection this year, Cynthia Rowley has created a video experience to showcase her designs in just such a way. The designer reached out to Yung Jake, a seriously tech-savvy Cal Arts senior, who created the innovative video — and we've already hit play more than once this morning.
Why, you ask? The models clad in Rowley’s designs walk through different blogs, YouTube vidoes, and fashion web sites, including R29, thankyouverymuch. This fresh and fun take on the typical lookbook had us coveting a few of the designs, for sure, and also wishing that we could actually strut through our favorite fashion magazines. You know, like Tron, but with better clothes.
