Free Bagel Monday At La Victoria Bakery
If you find yourself moseying around the Mission this morning, be sure to post up at La Victoria Bakery and score bagels — for free! — crafted by Sour Flour's Danny Gabriner. It all kicks off early and the goods are there for the taking until they run out.

Kira Peikoff Book Signing at The Booksmith
It's thriller night at The Booksmith on Haight, suspense junkies! So, head on over to the Haight Street tome shop to greet buzzed-about twenty-something author Kira Peikoff, who'll be in town from New York to talk about and sign her debut novel, Living Proof, which has received thumbs ups from best sellers Lee Child and Alafair Burke.

Greenburger's 1st Anniversary Chicken 'N' Waffles Party
Celebrate the one-year anniversary of Greenburger in Lower Haight with, oddly enough, a pop-up dinner hosted by Angry Man Eats and featuring soul-food yumminess like chicken 'n' waffles, collard greens, and hush puppies, all ranging from $2 to $7 a pop.

Lucky Peach Issue 3 Release Party
McSweeney's and David Chang's cult-followed foodie mag Lucky Peach is celebrating its latest issue, which has a "Cooks and Chefs" theme, with meaty goods from 4505 Meats and hard booze from Magnolia Brewery, plus lots of hot-chef spotting.

Junior League Fashion Show Fundraiser
Support a good cause and get your Zoolander on at the Junior League's fashion show fundraiser Wednesday night. The $40 advance tickets ($50 at the door) will go to the women-focused charity and will entitle guests to free cocktails, hor d'oeuvres, and live music, all at a gorg venue — the Maritime Museum! Plus, folks who have already bought tickets to the upcoming April 13th fashion show get in for free.
