Peeps-Flavored Milk Is Making A Comeback

If you’ve ever drank a Yoo-hoo and said, “This is great, but I wish it had different branding and higher marshmallow content and was also marketed around Easter,” then we have insanely good news for you. Peeps, the marshmallow candy shaped into birds, covered in sprinkles, and used to vaguely disappoint children, is bringing back its milk. Prairie Farms will deliver its Peeps-flavored milk on a national level, this time adding some flavors. The release includes the original flavors of Chocolate Marshmallow, Original, and Egg Nog. Strawberry Creme and Orange Creme will also debut as flavors, though the Orange Creme will only be available at Wal-Mart. Though the most obvious way to consume Peeps milk is straight out of the carton, like Ron Burgundy, a Clockwork Orange extra, or a writing professor of mine that literally won a MacArthur Genius grant, Prairie Farms offers some recipes on their website. We’re embedding one below, and you can check out the rest here. Fun fact: Madison, Illinois, is enamored enough with Peeps that they declared February 22 National Peeps Day. Thankfully, the rest of us don't have to restrict our celebration to that 24-hour period.
