Caitlyn Jenner Isn’t Offended By That Halloween Costume

Another day, another somewhat unexpected Caitlyn Jenner quote. For those keeping track at home, accepting the concept of same-sex marriage may be an evolving process for the transgender reality star, but she seems to have no problem being turned into a Halloween costume mocking her gender transition. "I'm in on the joke," Jenner told Today's Matt Lauer in an interview that aired this morning. "No, I don't think it's offensive at all. I know the community does, and they've gotten a lot of criticism for doing it. I think it's great." The only thing that bothers Jenner about the unisex costume, which parodies her Vanity Fair cover, is the quality of the clothing. "To be honest with you, I think it's great — except they could have a better-looking outfit for them," she added. "I mean, that was a serious bustier on the cover of Vanity Fair. I mean, at least get some good clothes," she explained. "You've got to enjoy life. Life's too short. I can't get too upset about that type of stuff." Fair enough. Laughing off potential haters is a tried-and-true strategy. Jenner may be okay with the getup, but we'll be steering clear of it this Halloween — and making our abhorrence known.
