This 2-Year-Old Model With Down Syndrome Will Put A Smile On Your Face

Friends always told Julie Britton that her daughter, Connie-Rose, had a beautiful smile. So much so, that she decided to send a few snaps of the beaming 2-year-old to modeling scouts. It's easy to see why: with big blue eyes and an infectious smile, Connie-Rose lights up for the camera. Despite being diagnosed with Down Syndrome at two weeks old, Connie-Rose, who lives in the U.K. with her parents, has already nabbed two modeling contracts. "I was assessed as being at higher risk of having a baby with Down Syndrome when I was pregnant and could have had the diagnostic test to find out but I didn't want it because it just wasn't an issue," Julie told The Daily Mail.

After she sent off Connie-Rose's photos, Julie says the family received a response fairly quickly, and then went on to book test shoots. "When I spoke to the agencies about her Down Syndrome diagnosis, no one even batted an eyelid," she added. Connie-Rose is a natural in front of the camera, and Julie says she'll only continue to have her daughter model if it's something she enjoys. For our sake, we sure hope she does.
