Josh Duggar took the latest step in his role as disgraced, former semi-celebrity: he entered rehab for his actions. On Wednesday, the Duggar family's website released a statement announcing that the 27-year-old — whose year has now included a confession to molesting five underage girls when he was a teenager, as well the reveal that he is addicted to pornography (which he confessed to in a statement and then later edited out) and had an Ashley Madison account—will enter rehab. The statement, "Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change. In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna [Duggar] and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future." What kind of treatment center Duggar will be heading to, however, was not mentioned. The 19 Kids and Counting parents also said of their son, "We are so deeply grieved by our son’s decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others." (Anna Duggar's brother Daniel Keller has some slightly harsher words for him, posting to his Facebook page earlier this week, "I won't stop trying to get that pig out of our family.") The Duggar family has long touted themselves as beacons of family values, to which Josh Duggar, noted in his own apology last week, "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever."
