Former Affleck/Garner Nanny Reportedly Wants To Be The Next Bachelorette

Last month, Ben Affleck vehemently denied reports that he was in a relationship with his children's now-former nanny, Christine Ouzounian. The actor's publicist told Refinery29 over email that the story of their alleged affair was "full of lies." Nevertheless, those rumors were enough to get Ouzounian's name out to the public — and officially start the clock on her 15 minutes of fame. Well, the Nannygate rumor mill has officially reached point of a reality TV deal. Here's how it happened. Page Six, which loves gleefully probing into cases of potential infidelity as though there were no emotional consequences or children involved, has been all over the story since the first hint of adultery. Last week, the site published a photo of Ouzounian allegedly wearing Tom Brady's Super Bowl rings aboard a private plane to Vegas with Affleck and the Patriots quarterback. Today, Page Six is reporting that Ouzounian is trying to further extend her 15 minutes by pursuing a stint on a reality show. "'Ben Affleck’s limelight-loving nanny Christine Ouzounian is searching for an agent and is hoping for a reality-TV career on shows like The Bachelorette,' Hollywood sources tell Page Six." The story continues, "A source tells us, 'The word in L.A. is that Christine is looking for an agent and wants a TV deal, on something like The Bachelorette or Dancing With the Stars. She knows she most likely can’t go back to nannying — who in L.A. would hire her now to take care of their kids? So she’s going to use the spotlight to build a showbiz career.'" Refinery29 reached out to reps for these shows, who replied saying, "We do not comment on casting rumors or speculation." If Ouzounian were to be cast on The Bachelorette or DWTS, she probably wouldn't be able to discuss Affleck or Garner by name due to a nondisclosure agreement she likely signed when she began working for the couple. Still, her scarlet A (for Affleck and alleged adulterer) would be the talk of all the tabloids. That's the way the rumor mill churns. (Page Six)
