Nicki's got a bone to pick with MTV.
The MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced today and there were some pretty strong reactions to the ones that made the cut. Although Nicki Minaj's reaction in particular stood out. While she received three nominations (Best Female Video, Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Collaboration), she firmly expressed that she should've got a couple more.
She took to Twitter to share her thoughts on why "Anaconda" didn't get the love it deserves, mentioning how it might have gotten more nods if she were a different "kind" of artist.
If I was a different "kind" of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. ???

Minaj even points out how "Anaconda" played such a major role in pop culture. I mean, Ellen even got into it.
