All The Secret Chanel-Branded Moments During Today’s Show

Slap a double-C logo on anything, and it instantly becomes something people must own. Chanel has maintained a pretty tight grip on keeping its products rare and the demand high, so that even the most reserved of fashion ladies will go apeshit over tins of sardines and doormats. Chanel pays an insane amount of attention to details, and its 2015 haute-couture show was no different. Inspired by black-tie casinos, and the high-class debauchery that happens within, the show was the purest metaphor for luxury: the wearing of clothes with six-figure price tags while spending just as much money betting on a round metal ball — and not caring too much if you’re destroying your clothes in the process. The items were riffs on Chanel’s classic tweed suit sets, done up this time with aggressive, oversized shoulders (which matched the strong ’80s brows, black sheer stockings, and aggressive blush angles). It’s a statement on a Dynasty-era definition of ostentatiousness and conspicuous consumption that feels especially attractive for a certain set these days. All that brings us to those "extras," because, for Chanel, it's important to make the point that no expense is too great in the name of immersing its audience (and its customers) into a fantasy world. From the slot machines to the carpet to the poker chips, Karl made sure everything — literally — got the Chanel stamp, even if you had to be sitting in Kristen Stewart’s seat to see it. Scroll below to see all the little moments you might have missed.
