7-Eleven’s New Summer Slurpee Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again

We grew up on Sour Patch Kids. (Did anyone else weirdly enjoy the game of seeing how many you could eat before your mouth started to feel funny?) Many of us also enjoyed our fair share of after-school, technicolored Slurpees — blue raspberry mixed with Coca-Cola all the way. Admittedly, it's been years since we've sought out either treat. But now 7-Eleven is serving up our childhood in a cup with its latest summer Slurpee flavor: Sour Patch Watermelon. The new frosty summer beverage will be available beginning July 1 at participating 7-Eleven stores. Apparently, 7-Eleven customers were already pairing Sour Patch candy and Slurpees together, so the nostalgic flavor combo was a no brainer. Plus, nothing screams summer like a watermelon drink. We'll have to see if it makes our mouths pucker in addition to giving us the inveitable brain freeze.
