A male teacher in Hampshire County, West Virginia was caught letting his high school students watch Fifty Shades of Grey in class, The Charleston Daily Mail reports. The students had reportedly convinced the teacher that a viewing of the film would be an appropriate reward for their hard work. We guess that makes him the sub in this relationship?
Somehow, the unnamed teacher was unaware of the film's racy content and agreed to the screening.
"Fortunately, an assistant principal walked by and saw what they were doing,” school principal Jeff Woofter explained to the paper, adding that the school doesn't allow films of any sort to be screened in class. But, you know, especially not ones about BDSM.
“I will say it was an extreme lack of judgment from an otherwise very capable teacher,” Woofter added, though he failed to discuss if any disciplinary action was taken. “The teacher didn’t do a background check on the movie or even ask about it.”
How is that even possible? Still, it's nice to think that there might still be people out there who haven't heard of Fifty Shades. Stay true, you lucky creatures.
