Chloë Moretz Just Wore Swimwear Outside In NYC & It Worked

If last summer was the season of the crop top, this one's shaping up to be all about sheer. Similar to the midriff-baring hem, see-through cutouts provide a nice amount of warm-weather ventilation — in a ridiculously rad way. But, if the thought of flashing your bra to strangers makes you feel a little shy, look to cool teen Chloë Grace Moretz. Yesterday in New York City, she proclaimed her allegiance to Barbie's bestie Skipper in sheer-paneled Sandro sweatshirt. The 18-year-old kept her modesty intact by layering the sweatshirt over a triangle halter top, proving that swimwear can definitely do double duty. If you’d rather save your bikinis for the beach, a lace bralette would do the trick, too.  She kept things casual with a classic denim mini, which probably looks exactly like one you had in high school. But, just because you no longer play hooky from homeroom doesn't mean you can't wear an A-line jean skirt. Just skip the Abercrombie baby tee and stick with a slouchy sweatshirt and skater sneakers like Moretz.
