Lori Loughlin Doubts Olsen Twins Will Join Full House Spin-Off

Our day was made when we learned this morning that a Full House spin-off would definitely be happening. After missing D.J. and Kimmie, Stephanie, and the rest of the San Francisco crew, it was thrilling to hear that soon there would be more than the beloved reruns to watch. Netflix is scheduled to produce and release 13 episodes for 2016. Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) seemed equally excited as he revealed the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, but Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin), not so much. On Tuesday, Loughlin told Access Hollywood that she, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier have not signed deals.  "First of all, they have been working on this for a while. It's a spin-off idea that's a flip on the original series, " Loughlin said. "They made deals with Candace [Cameron Bure], Jodie [Sweetin] and Andrea [Barber]. I believe they just closed John Stamos' deal. I don't have a deal. Dave doesn't have a deal, Bob — we're all in negotiations."  Before you get mad at Loughlin for attempting to kill your joy, just remember that she's merely being honest. Just because she has yet to make a deal doesn't mean she doesn't want to. Loughlin said that she and the costars she mentioned would like to rejoin the cast, but it's not in their hands.  "We want to be there. We want to come back. It's up to them. It's not on us. It's on them," she said.  But, what about Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, a.k.a the completely adorable twins who took turns playing little Michelle Tanner? We're not sure of their whereabouts, but Loughlin isn't banking on them joining the spin-off. In fact, she threw a bit of shade at the twins and their desire, or rather the lack thereof, to participate in the reboot.  "It doesn't matter how much money they get paid, they don't care," she said. "I honestly don't know if they want to do it. I'm sure they're talking to them. I don't know what's going on there. Everyone would love it [if they came back,] it would be really nice."  Not too bad, right? Just wait for it.  "But, actually you just need one of them," Access Hollywood co-host Kit Hoover interjected. "She's right, you only need one of them," Loughlin replied.  She might be right, but when it comes to Full House, we're pretty sure the Olsen twins are a two-for-one-deal.
